Jacob Electric LLC executed a critical electrical infrastructure upgrade for Rivian’s commercial facility in Seattle, WA. The project was focused on modernizing the water pump system and associated power distribution components to ensure safe, reliable operations in support of Rivian’s advanced automotive and facility needs.
This tenant improvement and remodel project included extensive electrical work such as transformer grounding and bonding, protective system installations, and temporary power solutions—all performed with minimal operational disruption.

Challenges
The site posed unique challenges due to its need for uninterrupted power for critical equipment and operations. Our team was required to coordinate carefully with onsite management to provide continuous power—via temporary generator systems—while upgrading primary panels and transformer systems, ensuring Rivian’s operations and systems remained online and secure.
