“ They thoroughly diagnosed the issue (it was weird and took quite a bit to pinpoint, but they stayed until it was figured out) because it was a more involved fix they came back on another day and did the work another day that was more convenient. They explained every step of the way what was going on and how they were approaching it. I learned a lot and when I didn't understand they took the time to walk me through the different aspects of the job. They were professional and courteous throughout the visit. '' My wife and I are in the middle of finishing a home renovation. When installing a new range hood in our kitchen we discovered that our electrical wiring was too short and didn't appear correct. We couldn't see a ground wire and the existing wiring was routed oddly in and out of the wall, showing exposed wiring. We called several companies to get quotes and an estimate on when someone could come out Jacob Electric was one of the few companies that actually called us back. They came out within two business days of talking with them on the phone initially. The service provided was very professional. Having started our first home renovation project, we've been dealing with a lot of contractors for different phases of our project. Luca and his partner were incredibly professional, polite, clean, and accommodating. They wore foot booties which was appreciated, as many of the contractors we had coming into our home left a huge mess in their wake. During the work, Luca offered to replace an outlet in our kitchen that looked old - no charge! After fixing our wiring and making sure everything was up to code, Luca and his partner helped me install the range hood. This was above and beyond. The work I agreed to pay for was only to extend the wiring and get everything up to code. They took the time to properly install and test the range hood unit before leaving. One of the bulbs in the new unit wasn't operating correctly and Luca tested to make sure it wasn't anything related to the electrical going into the hood - it was just a bad bulb! I can't thank Luca enough for the work he performed and how professional he was. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for electrical help.''
